What the hell is wrong with papyrus?

Hi all,

Man, this really sucks!!! I just downloaded the nascar demo program from
papyrus. <FTP.STD.COM  cd/vendors/payrus> You know what? This 1.3M file, which
took me forever to download, doesn't work!

After I pkunziped the file nasdemo.zip and after I set the soundcard up and
after I typed nasdemo -i <which means run interactive demo program>, the
program told me it cannot locate some rol of some sort. Anyway, my point is
that the demo does not work period. If I did something wrong, somebody please
email me!

What the heck is Papyrus doing? Do they chech their stuff before they upload
things? Do they check their softwares before they sell them? Granted, they
produced beautiful graphics for Indycar and Nascar, but that's about all they
can do! Well, I may have been a bit harsh. I enjoy playing indycar a lot even
though there are bugs in the program. Anyway, it just seemed to me that the
programmers working for Papyrus don't really enjoy auto racing very much.
I wish Papyrus can give me a copy of their codes so I can debug them for them!

please get your act together, Papyrus!

The problem isn't with Papyrus.  Use the -d option when you unzip the file.

You are not practicing "safe unzipping". While unzipping ANY zipfile, unless
you know better, always use the -d switch, which will unzip and restore
the original directories. Nascar has some subdirectories it needs.

Yep..Papyrus really sucks on this one...<grin>  If you had read the
directions you would have noticed that you have to unzip with the -d
(?) command for subdirectories...<grin>. ...  stupid Papyrus...silly...
