ICR2 Best Times, Best Setups and Replays [info!]

I'm working on developing a public IndyCar2 World Record
chart which doesn't have anything to do with the implementation
of ridiculous ivga-type software.  There will be world
records for all 15 "stock" IndyCar2 tracks.  (Maybe Nascar
tracks also, depending on interest.)  Each record
holder will have the option to have his replay and/or
car setup made public and accessible to everyone interested.
This will certainly help anyone who is struggling with any
track.  [I realize how frustrating the game can be when you
cannot find a good setup!!]

All IndyCar2 drivers are encouraged to post a message (or email
me) with your best results at each track.  Please include the
following:
-Track and Time (in seconds, even for ovals)
-Driver's Name
-Nationality
-Chassis/Engine/Tire combination
-Temp. in degrees

Depending on interest, I will be posting updates every few weeks
or so.

Yeah, so computer hackers will be the fastest racer on the world.

I agree - if anyone wants the record that badly, let them have it. THEY
will know they cheated and the record is worthless, where's the glory in
that?

Anyway, don't anyone kid themselves that the IVGA software is
unhackable. It will deter the casual hacker but is easy prey for the
professional. Anything written by a human can be broken by a human.
Better just to leave it open to the honour system and let people police
themselves. I'll certainly send my hotlaps to your page Josh, they
should be good for a laugh if nothing else ;)

Cheers!
John

PS - Send me the URL and I'll include a link to it in the Sim magazine
I'm working on.
