New CART Precision Racing review

There is a new review with new screenshots and a comprehensive breakdown
of car adjustments at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

It looks like we're going to need the knowledge of a race team engineer,
and one is apparently provided, to sort out the setups for this one.

If this game is all it appears to be (playability, feel, and frame rate
are good) it will redefine the PC racing simulation. This preview is
very exciting.

It's gonna make for long nights in front of the computer and a really sore
and flat butt. ;-)

I can disclose that I am a beta-tester for CPR (there isn't an NDA). I
can confirm the general sentiments of that preview by OGR.

I have a web page set up for CPR and I have just added a special page
with my impressions of this promising sim.

Check it out if you are interested in more info. I will keep updating
it as time goes on and the betas and my impressions progress further.
I would rather post everything in one place there than here in the
newsgroup, so forgive me for directing you to the web site.

By the way, Homestead, Rio, and St. Louis are a blast to drive!

Sounds very interesting, like a "must have".  But for the life of me, I
can't remember what 3D format C:PR will support!  Anybody remember?
(Better start saving the pesos now, huh?)

Sheez... do you realize over the next several months how many racing
sims there'll be that I'll want to buy!!?  Lessee'... there's the
upcoming BGN Pack (another "must"), UBI's F1, C:PR, SODA,... and who
knows what else???  THIS IS GREAT!!!
