There is one reason and only one reason to play this game, the ease of
creating, installing and playing non retail tracks.  This game has the
best TE I've ever used.  I tried GP2's editor and had problems, not a
problem yet with the CPR TE.  Any way... I'm here to announce I have put
up a track page.  It has 3 tracks currently and more on the way.  2
Fantasy tracks (one of them being a death wish) and 1 semi-real course
(based around the downtown core of my home town).  Come and check it
out, if you don't play CPR much just play it for the ease of track
editing and playing fantasy tracks.  There are a lot of wicked tracks
out there.

I was wondering where I could pck up a copy of CPR.  I'm not really concerned
about the physics (I hear theyre not great) but it seems to me that its better
in some ways than CART Racing (which im not exactly fond of).  For one there
are edited tracks and a track editor and two the CART Racing physics seem to be
kinda...umm...strange.  Maybe its just that I'm used to GPL but the CART cars
(which are supposed to have downforce) dont seem to have much downforce.  I
spin amost constantly in high speed turn wher u shouldnt have to lift at all
(ie. the "kinks" on the long straight at Elkhart).  The oval physics are good,
maybe a bit taily, but overall good.  However the road course physics seem
lacking.  But aside from that I wanted to get CPR and havent been able to fing
it anywhere.  Would EB have a copy in the bargian bins?  TIA.

The physics in CART:PR are actually quite good.  The steering is a *** to
configure--but compared to what I read about RC2000, it is probably easy!!!
The fatal flaw in CART:PR is the AI, which are so appallingly bad I cannot
bring myself to regurgitate a description of them.  Took too much out of me
to argue about it back in the old days when we were promised a patch to fix
them.

TRI that made CPR had been advertising for people with experience
using their editor and making textures for full time employment.
Hopefully this will mean a "finished" version of CPR using the same
editor. No rumors on what that sim might be as of yet!
