In the actual NASCAR Racing 2 game when your driving Papyrus should make
tire marks show up on the sides of the cars when they get rubbed by
another car just like in real life, and by the way can the cars in
Nascar 2 get dented in the sides instead of just in the front and rear
like in NASCAR 1? And one more thing, is there going to be any actual
video of any Nascar races or highlights from real life on the cd....if
not Papyrus should consider that.(In the game NEED FOR SPEED they have
lots of video about the cars and other cool things-Papyrus outta borrow
some ideas from that game) One more thing I would like to know- When is
THE NEED FOR SPEED 2 coming out??

I seem to remember one of the VERY FIRST screenshots of NASCAR 2
as having a screenshot of a car (I beleive it was Ricky Rudd's "Tide"
car) with "donuts" on the side of it.... I never heard anything else
about it though.....

It would be cool tho'

That was NOT a Nascar 2 screenshot. That was a Nascar 1 screenshot modified
by someone as an example to see if Papyrus could implement that. I have not
heard anything since so don't count on it being in the sim.

Almost. The "someone" happens to have been Papyrus. This was a "mock"
up of what Papyrus "wanted" to put into the game. However, they said it
more than likely would not make it to the final release.

Todd,

Well not that I want to debate this with you :-)
But as *I* recall it was a picture done by Papyrus's
folks, while I'm quick to agree it was nothing more
than a picture of a NASCAR 1 car and scenery
with a Donut, I do remember that it was talked about.

We'll just hafta see :)
