SORRY I'm late with these suggestions for NASCAR 2,But I thought
these were some great ideas so I decided to share them with you
fellow NASCAR fans.

I would like to also see the pit crew jump over the walls and do
their job. Plus the pace car lights too.
And there should be tire marks on the cars when they get together.
There should also be a toggle switch to see when the other drivers
are going to pit so you can do as little "pit stategy".
And make the crashes more realistic ,like the doors being able to
get crunched in and not just the front and back of the car.
And make the cars look more aerodynamic.
Also,on replays have an announcer (like Bob Jenkins per say)call
the action as it happens.
And when cars have mechanical failures have their pit crews push
them into the pits.
O yeah, and definitely have flipping cars in NASCAR 3 ,or at least
have the roof flaps open if not.

And what Kind of SUPER Computer do you plan on using??? If you were to
make the Pit Crew move and dod there job, that would be the WHOLE
GAME!! It would take up TOO much Space!! You would have have to have 2
or MORE CD'S to make the game! AH AH AH AH!!

Great ideas...now if I only had about 80 grand for a Cray Supercomputer to
run all these graphics-intensive features I'd be sitting pretty. <G>

More important to me are double file restarts with lappers to
left...realistic AI (not 32 cars on lead lap after 500 miles at
Dover)..maybe a Busch series as part of the new race weekend
structure..Busch Clash...Winston Select..and of course the Indy and
Daytona tracks, in a perfect world

I got another one: how about the ability to see your position on the track
from an overhead position?  This would/should be toggled on or off, but it
sure would help learning a new track easier (only applicable for road courses,
but I'm sure IndyCar3 could use it too).

Oh, and I still want wreckers to come out and clean up the track.

Just out of curiosity, I know the Papyrus folk are here - do they
solicit/entertain requests/feedback like this?

Again (as I have stated before), I would like the spotter to tell me when
the leader is passing the start finish line every few laps.  Then on every
lap when he is coming up behind me.

Yes - these things are important.  I don't need a moving pit crew.  Also,
with the spotter/crew chief in NASCAR 2, we need the "5500 second gear"
stuff from the crew.  It is impossible without the speedometer to figure
out when you are speeding on pit row - except the crew yelling slow down -
but by then it is too late.

A couple of things I would like to see implemented are...

1. When starting a race, start the grid on the track with the motors shut off.
Hear the command to start the engines and hit a key to start your engine.
Start in neutral so you can rev up the engine, and as soon as you shift, up or
down, it will go into gear.

2. Get some "roll" in the view during turns.

3.  Be able to drive into a garage area, and or winner's circle.

4. Get those pit roads straightened out.

5.  Model wheel spin.

6.  Model 3D physics.

Add these features to what is going to be implemented into NASCAR 2 and you
will have almost the perfect NASCAR SIM.

Anyone else agree?

well G Tom mayb u should have headed the nascar2 project

Tom do it 4 them MAN u know what i dont think u could hit the brd side
of a barn if it hit u first
ur RPM tell u when u hit 55 DUH see what RPM is 55 than dont go over it

I would love to see wheel spin and 3D physics.  In my experience, the
fastest standing start on
Hawaii is 1st gear full throttle, which is somewhat counterintuitive and
unsatisfying.  However,
modeling 3-D motion would require more bandwidth for multi, and as long as
this isn't available,
I'd hate to see these features added at the expense of viewing more cars
ahead.

It will be optional.
