Yes the following guy has some good advice. As soon as you buy a
Thrustmaster product, email the support section or call them up and request
some extra springs.
On the other hand, I have a 1 inch 3 ring binder BEHIND my pedal unit.
This keeps it from slipping away and the 1 inch height limits the travel of
the pedals to about 50%. Now I know I loose some finesse by not having the
full rang but I'm going on 14-15 months with the original pedal springs and
have yet to break any. And since I'm running in the The Pits Touring Car
Championship league, (TPTCC) we run road courses which require plenty of
pedal mashings per lap. so I think I'm getting pretty good wear out of the
springs by limiting their travel.
