THRUSTMASTER DIGITAL PRO PROBLEMS

by Race15 » Mon, 29 Jan 2001 02:43:30

My brother just called me and he is having problems with his new Thrustmaster
Pro Digital wheel.  GPL won't hold the wheel in the software.  Everytime he
loads GPL he must reload the thrustmaster software and go through the
calibrations.  Any ideas?  I have tried most places online for help and found
NADA.  Okay, RAS, do some of that help stuff. :))
TIA

What version of the drivers is he using? The old ones did that to me too.
Make sure you have the latest from their site.

We got it straightened away.  And this is how we did it.

Unistalled thrustmaster and used the clean.exe on the disc.

Installed the 5.0 drivers only.

restart computer and let win98 find the wheel, listed as "HID 3-axis 8-button"

Went straight to GPL and calibrated.  End of problems.

The heck with thrustmaster.
