Well, the choices are pretty clear here as well. But when you have a
thousand choices and only two or three available avenues, you have to
make some serious and occasionally unpleasant decisions.
Unfortunately, we can't do everything we'd like to do. NASCAR
Manager's recent shelving is one example of this.
If Papyrus had unlimited funds, a couple hundred of the best software
engineers on the planet, a staff of hundreds of graphic artists, and
the cooperation of every single licensee and sanctioning body in the
racing community, you can bet we'd be doing everything everyone asks
for *right now*. I think what we've done with the resources at hand
is staggering, but then I work here and can see the whole picture. I
wish I could precisely describe to this newsgroup the huge melting pot
of situations, opinions, limitations, and events that define our
direction as a company.
The folks at Papyrus all have their pet projects and "what-if" ideas
for simulations. Personally, you could name any racing sanctioning
body and I would love to do it. And maybe somewhere down the line I
might be able to here at Papyrus. But until then we do the best with
what we've got.

My opinion, not Papyrus' or Sierra's.
