The first thing my brain flashed was the chicken lady from boys in the hall.
Thanks.

I posted it here because this is where Dave decided he wanted to
discuss it.  In fact, Dave decided he wanted to discuss everything
here, so I'm just obliging him.

Well, had I been aware of it sooner, and realized that everyone was so bent
about it, I probably would have set everything straight.  I can at least admit
THAT.
Doesn't help now, though.  So I'll move on.

Being a Brit, I shouldn't have to explain this to you. You should be able to
pick up on things more subtle. It's what makes British comedy so great.

Anyway, the post was intentionally written to show exasperation at how silly
things had become. That's what the long, run on paragraph with the little
dots (.........) everywhere was for. Their was a decent amount of sarcasm
thrown in there too.

At least you gave the slow and stupid (like Tim) a laugh. Those type of
people only get the kind of humour that they're hit over the head with.

Because you were a volunteer (not a dictator) and an insecure moron.
Insecure morons don't ever tell me what to do.

I know all GPL'ers have to stick together (still), but you did see who
started this thread with my name in the title.....asking me to continue
rehashing something I already said in another thread I was now clear on?

I think John and Timmy have had their fun now trying to mess things up (even
though they have failed, and will continue to fail), and I've grown bored.

Cheers!

Target audience, Dave, target audience...

Anyway this is the abuse thread - if you want an argument it's the thread
before... or after...

Cheers

LOL, I think you have had your share of rehashing DGF!

bored.

I think we all have, Dave. My point was that I think Rascar is doing ok.
Sure some may want to join John if he ever starts up an alternative
venture - but so what, we know that one size fits all isn't going to work
and you guys seem to be doing fine right now.

Rehashing the past is only going to stir up a proverbial hornets nest
again. It is easy for me to say as I am not directly involved, but
hopefully that gives an objective view, despite obviously (apparently)
being an obsessive GPLer holding a grudge...<G>

Cheers

No, you've simply exhausted your limited vocabulary and have realized
that insult-for-insult, you've been be-littled (oh wait, according to
some reports, you might be sensitive about being little) over and
over again and proven wrong so many times that you may have found a
clue somewhere (more likely, someone loaned you one of theirs) and
you've finally decided you simply cannot win this argument...

Me, and I apologize.  It seems that I've screwed up all round, and that REALLY
bothers me.  I try to be non-confrontational, but it seems that in this case
that's precisely what caused a problem.  Because I didn't step in when I
probably should have, things spiraled out of control.
You seem to have an overwhelming need to win(at everything), and I had a need
to not be seen as the problem.  That put us at odds.  You've said and done
things that pissed me off(including a final shot here), but I'll move past
that.  Good luck, David.

No offense intended guys, since this is being posted on a public forum and I
have been somewhat following these threads...

Imho, when it gets down to hashing things over and over, and trading insult
for insult, your really doing nothing more than belittling your own selves.

Back to my corner now,,,

As I've said before, EVEN Jan, who was helping run RASCAR, thought the ban
was official, which is what you said to all of us it was.

Jan said today, "I'm not saying it's all your fault, I'm saying I can
understand that Dave
feels let down with respect to what has come to light (heck, *I* didn't know
you didn't want him kicked out... otherwise I would have insisted it'd be
your call)."

I just won this arguement. Better luck next time.
