CH Pedals with GP1

Hi all, I know this has been covered before but a Deja News search turned up
little, and I need a bit of help.

I purchased a set of CH Pedals to use with a TM GP1 (uses the adapter). I
cannot seem to be able to set up this combination in Control Panel.

I would like to use in F1RS with seperate Throttle/Brake.

System:

Intel233MMX
Soundblaster 16
Thrustmaster GP1
CH Pedals (not the Pro Model)

I don't recall if this is exactly the way I did it, but I think it is...

Plug the GP1 with adapter into the rudder pedals, then the pedals into
the gameport. Set the switch on the pedals to "car". Go into the game
controllers control panel and choose custom, then specify a 4 axis 4
button control. Under "Special" check the "is a race car controller"
selection. Calibrate and use.

The machine should see the wheel as stick 1 axis X, the paddles on the
wheel as axis Y, and the pedals as stick 2 X and Y.

Luck,

Trips

Trips,

Thanks for the reply. I did try that method but could not get it to calibrate.
I went back to the TM Pro-Panel and reconfigured the controller as a TM GP1 and
it worked. The pedals work in all my racing sims (F1RS,GP2,N2,GPL Demo and
ICR2) except TOCA.

You can't use separate axes for brakes and accelerator in TOCA - you must use
combined ones. That means you have to reconfigure and reboot (or vice versa - can't
remember) when switching from F1RS to TOCA. This is a pain that'll be fixed in TOCA
2, allegedly.
