FS: Act-Labs GPL shifter on Ebay

Hi all,

I've never really had the time to use my new act labs GPL shifter because of
work commitments.

So I've decided to keep my Act-labs pedals, but sell my custom GPL shifter
to help pay for my recent Epox m/board, DDR memory and 2200+ processor
upgrade.

As you can see on the pictures the shifter is***mounted to a custom
shaped sheet of 15mm MDF with an enamel spray finish. The shifter can be
mounted to the LHS or RHS using the pre-drilled holes and my LWFF wheel
clamps the whole lot securely to the desk. This set up eliminates and wobble
in the shifter associated with the Act Labs metal bracket that clamps to the
desk.

The backboard is cut to fit a curved desk front, but works just as good on a
straight front desk.

I've also replaced the knob with a short throw polished stainless steel
knob......... no jokes please ;-)

If anyone is interested in buying it (UK only) refer to the link to eBay
below.

Cheers,
Puggman

Like your mounting setup, very good idea and nicely done.

You are a nutter for getting rid of this!

My shifter was the best upgrade I purchased after the wheel.  I suppose if
you're into modern day F1/GT/WRC and that's the sort of thing you play, then
it's superfluous, but for NASCAR/GPL there's no way I'd part with mine.  No
way.

I'd go without the upgrade and save the pennies for now.

Oh well...
