Any steering wheels available or coming with force feedback ?
What about the sims/games, any planned or there yet ??

Soda does, and a bunch more do and will shortly as DirectX5 supports
IForce, making it easier to support force-feedback across a range of
devices.

I tend to agree, good FF costs $$.
Shameless Plug department -- until such time that there is good FF for home
use, why not try the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway at the Mall of America
-- it's just a trip to Minneapolis -- and we worked pretty hard to get the
steering feel to be good.

I would appreciate any feedback on this.
No clever little quotes from me. 8-)

This leads to me one of three conclusions (in descending order of
likelyhood): they didn't spring for $200-$500 DC motors in their $99
wheel and thus don't have good feedback, they can buy those same
motors from an alien source at $10-$15 each, or they are willing to
bleed money like a severed aorta to give gamers a break.
I suspect it will be like the N64 Rumble-Pack, suitable only for gross
effects, like bumping into a wall, driving over grass, etc, and will
not provide a realistic feel for programmable spring and damper rates
and centers...
It may be, just don't expect force feedback to be much more than shaking.

This is the very reason why we wont be including FF in our TSW in the near
future, I'd guess that an FF TSW would sell for around $2,000.00 and I dont
see selling very many at that price :(!

Jim, you'll eat the manual? =)
Heh.. in all honesty Jim, you should give me a call at work. I'm on the
development team and would love to tell you about the features. This thing
is created and designed by and for the ***. The $99 price is our way of
shocking the market and showing we don't need to make 300% margins on the
wheel. Basically we are positioning this product in a way where gamers can
see what we are coming out with this year =)
Gimme shout anytime, I'm a harsh sim gamer and would love to tell you about
my experiences with the RS and why some of the technology its including is
important and how many people have overlooked some of the killer app's.
