Hmm, I wonder if Coulthard has been learning the circuits by playing
a beta of F1GP (WC) 2 :-) (I seem to remember Williams were providing tech.
data for the sim, and that Tyrrell(?) who provided the data for F1GP (WC)
used the sim to help their drivers learn the tracks last year)

BTW: How come Geoff Crammond manages to get the tech data out of everyone,
right back to Revs (AFAIK, he got Acorn Computers to sponsor an F3 Ralt-RT3
in order for him to collate data), given that teams are usually _so_
secretive?

Coulthard rail Hill at Imola?  Do you mean Monza, the FW16 #1 was driven
by a different driver at Imola this year...remember.

Rumour has it that Williams are considering their position with Coulthard. Benetton, Ferrari and MacLaren all want him, with Benetton wanting him to drive the final three races of the year. However, Williams acknowledge he is a quick driver, quoting him as being 'still a baby in F1 terms'. They were going to delay the decision about him until the end of the year after seeing how Mansell has driven, however, the rumour is that this decision will take place prior to the European GP, with Williams not wanting to lose Coulthard, and thus not signing Mansell for the '95 season.

Page 2 of the manual says "With grateful thanks to Footwork Grand Prix
International and Honda UK."

What's this about F1GP 2? When is it due to be released?

Brendan.

According to all of the magazines that I have read (AutoWeek, IndyCar
Magazine, & Racer) the deal has already been signed.  Mansell signed for
$45million for next season.  If I am not mistaken, I think that Mansell even
held a press conference last week (or the one before) and announced this to be
fact.  So what is all of this talk about not signing Mansell?  it is a *done*
deal!

Computer *** World lists the tenative release date as Feb. '95.  I have
heard that MicroProse says this is probably an ambitious date, and should be
more acurately summer of next year.

For what it's worth ex motor cycle world champ Barry Sheene a friend of
both Hill and Mansell repeated his claim on Australian TV that Mansell
will not race for Williams next year. Sheene's rumours have a habit of
coming true.
