It's in the README folks...3dfx runs better with N4 using D3D. Now
realise your Voodoo3 is pretty much barely meeting the minimum requirements.
It will still run the game, but will be underperforming compared to some
other video cards. You can fix some of the washed out look by going to the
3dfx tools and adjusting the D3D brightness. ((I forget if it's too much
brite that causes the washed out look or not enough..)) push the sliders up
first and then try N4..if it gets worse, move the sliders back to the
left...
