I wish the server could turn off that damn wall glue for
League races.

I wish they had a real damage model that actualy ripped up your car when you
hit the wall. Then there would be no need for wall glue.

I would like the ability to play with setups you cant see.  That way we
could have a fixed
setup race and racers could share fast setups and not have to worry about
others
getting.  Also would like to see setup have an expire date..  Give a setup..
It stays
hidden, but expires.

"DB"said:

Agreed!

Other things I'd like to see:

- Better damage engine / more damage levels for both car, tires, and engine.
- Better tire wear indicator showing wear on  I - M - O
- Flatspotting of tires
- Dynamic shadows
- Export filter for replays.
- Support for subdirectories in the replay folder
- Bumps (Well this one will be introduced anyway...)
- Track editor or support for 3rd party tools (i.e give us the formats!)
- Ability to filter the race-list in WON so it only displays certain races.
- Improved spotter that actually do help you along the way :-)
- Crewcheif
- Ability to see other pitcrews

Ill personally welcome the day when 3 pedal kits with clutch pedals over on
the left become the norm, with heel and toeing being a requirement to drive
in sim mode (in sims of cars with no computers that do it for you), and a
level of sims that penalises those of us who continue to brake/accel into
corners (yes, i do it, been doing it for ages, but its a really bad habit to
get into). so far better wear on drivetrain modelling needs to be
accomplished.

we dont drive like race car drivers drive, we drive how the sims require us
to :(

In multiplier,
1. Show the cars in the pits unless the person realy has gone to the garage
(or is out driving obviously.)  This would help the realism.
2. Give multiple sort orders and show/hide options in the list of on line
races.  Example: show only races I qualify for, with realistic driving
model, that gives points where the race is not already in progress.

Am I right here?  It seems like only a few of the older NASCAR drivers like
Ricky Rudd still heel-toe and even touch the clutch.  If I'm wrong, please
correct me.

Why are we FORCED to use Sierra in the first place?  N3 only required a
person to log into Sierra then into a game.  (Example:  You could use Kali).
Half-Life is also like this.  Why we have to use Sierra's POS interface is
stupid.

I would dance a jig down the street if something even almost
as good as WinVROC for GPL was released for Nascar2k

From what I've heard this is true. There was an article in Speedway
Illustrated a couple months ago too about clutchless shifting. Dr***
outlined how to do it wothout destroying your gearbox. Didn't understand
a word myself since all I've ever driven is an automatic(blush).

If this is the last Papy NASCAR Sim, then there is no reason not to do
this - just because they can't officially make new NASCAR sims every
year doesn't mean that the enthusiasts can't keep updating the last
version...
