problem with Guillemot racing wheel

by Nuno Pereir » Fri, 28 Dec 2001 06:58:54

Hello,

I bought a Guillemot Racing Wheel USB (Ferrari) and installed all the
drivers to my Operating System (Win98 S.E.) and when I tried to play Colin
Mcrae or Colin Mcrae 2 nothing happens. The wheel wasn't detected by the
games.

When I go to control panel and to the properties of the wheel I can move the
wheel and see in the monitor the wheel moving too.

Only in the games I cannot play with the wheel.

What is the problem? Please help me.

Thanks

Nuno Pereira

Hey!
I also run 98SE, CMR2 and the Guillemot! I haven't had a problem at all. In
the game, it defaults to the keyboadr I think. So if you go there, and chose
the wheel, it should work no problems at all.

I see that you installed the drivers for your wheel, but did you also
install the calibration/setting utility tool (don't remember the precise
name of it!) provided by Guillemot in the installation disk? My guillemot FF
wheel would not work right without it, even with the good drivers installed.
Don't know why... :-(
Hope this helps,
Cyrille
