N3+Full fields=frame rates?

I run GPL with max opponents and all details on with my P2-450/banshee
1024x768 res. When all the other cars are visible my framerates fall to
about 24. This is less than 20 cars, whats going to happen in N3 when trying
to run almost 40 cars? I'm hoping that the car bodies in N3 will use less
polygons, since GPL shows all the suspension and it also moves, also
hopefully the've optimized the engine since GPL.  Any ideas?

Well I believe, not certain, that it will be the same because...
1.) You can't see the front suspension working while in in-car
2.) You also can't see much of anything else like an open wheeled car
because its mostly covered by the body
3.) The car bodies are not as complex like in GPL.  For instance...you can
see the exhaust and the top of the engine as well as the front suspension,
the rear suspension, and a whole lot more in GPL.

So, less to draw equals faster frame rate

Just a thought..

Seems like no more than 7 cars in front of you....
