Could somebody with some appropriate knowledge please advise if the
Diamond Stealth II S220 with the Verite 2100 chip will allow GPL to be
run in Rendition mode?
Will it also allow NASCAR2 to be run in Rendition mode?
Your responses would be most welcome ASAP as I am in the throes of
ordering a new system and this 2D-3D card has been recommended (as has a
Voodo 2 for 3DFX).

If you run N2 under dos you'll need the V2kdosfix.zip file once you patch
the nasrend.exe file with it, N2 is no problem...If you keep N2 in a win95
launch, then you don't even need that. GPL works EXCELLANT with the DS
II. 800x600 with AA. Not bad for $100us bucks!

I've heard it will (with some trick with ICR2-3D files), but I've not
tryed(sp?) it.

> Yep. At work I've a P166classic with SII and at home a PII with
> Monster 3dFX. There isn't much difference in frame rate at 640x480.
