I just bought Sierra's Screamin' 3D board. For 3D acceleration it has been
very good for me. Quake, NASCAR 2 and Indy Car 2 are all very very nice
with the Rendition versions. The excellent frame rates, and wonderfully
detailed scenes are very much worth the price.
Ok, so now the downside: Windows & 2D performance is not as great as I am
used to. However, I am spoiled. My previous graphics board was the
Hercules Graphite Terminator Pro. That is a hell of a card with tremendous
performance for standard Windows and 2D applications. If you don't have
anything that snappy for your current card, the Rendition card will probably
seem very good.

Only prob is that I think its Intergraph who have dumped the rendition/verit
e chipset for the 3dfx/voodoo or voodoo/rush. Anyone got more up to date
stuff on this?
