Cart Racing and Thriller 3D?

I saw Cart Racing (ICR2) for cheap today, so I went ahead and bought it.
But I can't seem to get the Rendition version to work with my Thriller 3D.
(8mb, AGP)
I also couldn't find any sort of patch to fix this problem at sierra.com.
What happens is I double click the .exe.......it starts the game but the
screen is black and I can only hear the intro in the background.  Any ideas?

Hmmm.  Tried the different methods it suggested....but still no go.  Funny,
it says Rendition support on the box too, and you have to go through all of
these different techniques to attempt to get it to work.  Can't believe
there isn't some sort of patch out for this problem, it seems well
documented.
