Besides not damaging the car, take a look at the top right corner of the
screen. There's your time limit.

Speaking of the Factory Driver-thingy, I find it pretty disturbing that
Porsche needs to rely on their test drivers to outrun the police in order to
deliver their product to the consumer... Not a very healthy business policy,
is it?

This kind of frightened concern for propriety removed one of the best
features of previous NFS games from NFS5:  cop chases.

I believe you should drive that mission without any damage. If you
make too much damage, your time display will change from white to red.

Talking about that time display, it's quite a handy feature to check
if you finished the mission within the timelimit! :)

If you don't see the time on your screen, go to your settings in the
game where you can turn all sorts of displays on and off.

Might also partially explain the high prices.

The cops never really try to catch you "that hard".  They seem to get more in
the way than anything else.  I wonder if in the game (as well as real life) the
Porsche factory makes a deal with the local law to leave their drivers alone.

Perhaps all the cops are driving Boxters while off-duty :-)

You sure? Even in Porsche 2000 the police is after me!

Thanks.  Apparently I must turn on the "Split Time" display to get the
target time displayed.  The time turning from white to red when damaged is a
nice hint too.  Too bad this stuff isn't in the manual (is it?).

yes that's why it is a VIDEO GAME, you can do politically incorrect
things in there.
