it seems i can't overclock the card: in th display control  Overclock
page , i set the speed and reboot, but then it doesn't apply and stays
at 166.

  You have to confirm the overclock.  Set the new speed, don't go very high
to start....do it in small steps so you know your card can handle it, then
reboot.  A box will appear when you reboot with an ok button, this is NOT
the confirm option.  Now go to your overclocking tab in your video
properties and you will see the 'confirm choice' button.  Once you clik
that, the overclocking will stay.

I'd suggest that you may want to get it running properly before trying
to overclock it though... :)

But in fact, it's ok now
for the overclocking stuff, not the GPL glide problem :(
