I'm thinking of picking up a copy on ebay. My question, does the game come
with a cd-key? If so, I would think buying an already opened package may
cause problems? I'd Appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thanks,

Baart

No if the CD key is on the package it 'should' match the key contain
in the code on the cd itself.  Now if you register the product, the
folks at EA will have a duplicate number.  And we all know what that
means...Pzzzt, Poof!  Duplicate...?  What Duplicate?  :)
Shouldn't be a problem that I can think of...perhaps if they use
online #'s like Half Life it could...but doesn't seem to me to be a
problem.  Anyone else with more info?

Yes, It comes with a CD-key.  I don't think it will cause problems, because
it's only used for installing.  It might be used for online play, but what are
the odds of you playing with someone with the same key?

If you just saving $10, maybe just buy it in the store.

Jason.

It comes with a number printed on a sticker on the CD case.  All you have to
do is enter this number when you install the game.  The fact that it has
already been opened shouldn't matter.
