Lol...good one David....  That happened to be my first opportunity to find
out that my car did receive damage when I was punted off into T1 (from
behind).......even though the "Next Pit Stop" indicator which I immediately
checked.... didn't show any damage.  I don't know what was damaged, but I
didn't have full brakes and that's the moment I first knew that (I don't use
my brakes between T1 and the inner-loop).  It took all the skill I had in my
bag, not to stuff the car (or crash the IL).....neither of which I
did.....so I was pretty lucky that time.  I should get an "A" for car
control on that one.....not a "C".  Thanks for pointing that out,
avid.  -:)

Why this harsh attitude all the time?
I have only made it to a couple of RASCAR races, but my experience is that
everybody usually takes it for what it is. A friendly race with amateurs and
midrange racers.
It's nothing to get worked up about really.

Tom,
Your concerns are noted and I respect your opinion.

Hold on a second while I delete your car...........ok........done.

See the rest of you guys on our pre-race day.

Thanks, Carl....

But I.....and many others here on r.a.s, have been calling him
"Frances"....for about five years (and affectionately so, I might
add)........and until today, he has never mentioned to us once that this is
not his name.  So, you can see my dismay at his sudden requirement of name
calling.  We have also called him many other names that he has objected
too.....but not this one.  -:)

you're not going to learn anything from someone that's 2 seconds
quicker anyway.

Carl...

Just to make sure you are not missing the point here.  I am not "worked up"
as you say, about the outcome or nature of the RASCAR race yesterday.  In
fact, I would have said nothing about if it were not for John Simmons post
about whether my car was posted or not.

When I reminded him that  there was no need to take up the car slot because
if the RASCAR races were not changed to "invite only" then I wouldn't be
continuing to run on Saturdays with those guys.......some people started
saying I was being arrogant and an elitist.  That......is what I'm "worked
up" about.  I hope that distinction is clearer to you now?
