I have patched GPL with the official patches and the CPU fix.
Question: which mod-files will bring me to exakt the version of GPL that
looks so great in the demo. Please tell me the names of the files, I download
and install them and hope the game will then look like the demo from 2004 does!

You can use the instal of the demo to over write your full GPL install, but
that won't upgrade the track graphics for the other tracks that are not part
of the demo.

And now for the second step: how to upgrade the track graphics?

Copy the Watglen folder from your demo install into the tracks folder of
your full gpl install. It'll ask to overwrite existing files, say yes.
If you want to back up your original Watglen folder first (good idea)
copy the whole folder & call it something else. You may want to keep
your track.ini or record.ini from the original track.
Do the same with the car folders if you like.
