GPL problem staying online at VROC

hi all

anybody when I race at vroc I have to see my selv finish a race yet, my isdn
modem are quiting on when I am 80 - 90 % through the race every time I try
why?

its a eicon T/A isdn modem.

it even happen when I log on to a race with low ping, it realy pisses my
off.

there is nothing under modem settings there seems to be diconnet my line by
setting.

Do I realy have to buy a new modem maybe a usb hmmmm, to overcome this sh..

please help me I'm realy frustrated

  Just to make sure it's the modem, can you finish races offline of
similar lengths?  If so..then I'm betting you have little box somewhere
in your internet config that says disconnect after so many minutes of
inactivity...that just a hunch tho...go through every part of your comm
setup, the ports, the dial up connections, the basic modem settings,
Win9x has redundant settings for much of this, you could have set your
modem properly but missed something else.  good luck
