I've raced N3 online for the last couple of years but need help understanding
N4 online things. How do you aquire ratings? I've raced maybe 30 pick up races
on N4 but have all 0's for ratings. What does it mean when I get the message
"you are not qualified to race here"? How can you use a cup car for online car?
Finally and probably dumbest of all...what directory do I unzip downloaded
decals and numbers to? Sorry if all of this has been covered and take pity on
the aged. Thanks in advance for any help.

  first to get ratings you have to race in races that USE the ratings.
about the middle of all the colums you'll see either a - sign or an x or a
range of #'s like 0-10.  You have to choose a race that has the numbers.  If
you see an x, that means at least one area either roadcoarse, short course,
speedway, or superspeedway needs a ranking.  So until you get some ranked
experience you can't join those.  any 0- race will work for you.  Eventually
you'll build up and be able to join races that are 1- and then 2 and so
on...

Thanks for the info Dave...I have raced in a few races that said 0-10 but no
changes in my ratings. Are the ratings automatically updated after one of these
races?  I have heard something about a site called sling.to/N4 to update
rankings. Do I need to do this?

It may take several races to change your rating.  And the higher your
rating, the longer it takes to go up.
