I'm having trouble to run N4 at exeptable framerates, testing sessions are
running smooth, but when other cars appear in races,my frame rates are
dropping fast,i disabled most options but still no good..I have a PIII
450Mhz,TNT2ultra32mb,and 128RAM,
I'm considering to get a GF2,but i'm not sure if this will do..,anyone?

The AI is very *** the CPU. How many cars are you running?  I would say
that a CPU upgrade would do you more good than a GF2 right now.

Consider this sequence when upgrading:

What will my motherboard accept--then:

1. CPU
2. Video card
3. Memory

You need to work on both ends...

Since it can be easily transported between anything you might build or buy
to go up from that PIII 450, I'd go with the best Video Card you can
arfford.  The GeForce Pro cards are a great buy now.

And if his motherboard does not have an AGP 2.0 compliant slot, then
all it will cause is a lot of frustration and nothing else!

Been there, done that.  Rebuilt my system because of it.

Um, PW, the fact that one would research proper compatibility prior to a
purchase is a given.  I don't think the guy's an idiot :)
