Wheel recommendation for F1 Challenge?

I just purchased F1 Challenge and now need to buy a wheel. I am looking at
the Saitek R440. Is that a good choice? If not, could someone kindly
recommend something else?

ALmost wanna say, try it and report bak to the rest of us...

Surely someone has tried it, seems to me I read somewhere that saitek
somehow got burned by MS, dunno probably just due to sw compatability, or it
could have been something along the lines that they tried to get
"Sidewinder" from MS and it fell through?

I looked at these once, but I WILL NOT PART with my MS Sidewinder FF
wheel...

IIRC, the Saitek R440 is not properly XP compatible, if that's a problem for
you.
