GTR 2002 problem

GTR 2002 problem

i installed the mod and the update from the boomtown website but when i fire
it up i only get to see the intro movie but then i just get a black screen
with the cursor and music but nothing else. anybody know what's going on
with this or is there another update taht i need? any help will be greatly
appreciated.
P4 1.6ghz
ASUS P4B
512 MB RAM
20 gig system hard drive
NVIDIA Geforce 2 ti video card with 64 MB
Audigy sound card

   There is a pretty thoruough walk through for getting  gTR installed,  Go

Do you have the Nvidia multi-desktop software running by any chance? I was
using this until I realized that it was causing problems with the GTR2002
loading menu. If you do have it running, try disabling it and see if that
helps

yeah i have it running. i'm gonna turn it off and then i'll report back on
my findings.
