Nascar2 Modem Bugs?

A friend and I decided to try modem racing using Nas2 last night, from
Texas to Canada and actually alot more fun than the hawaii wreck
fests, and costs the same.

Anyway, During Qualifying, he and I both were qualifying 1st and 2nd,
then we would go into the race, but he would sometimes get put in the
very back of the pack. I was the "answerer", he was the "dialer".
Finally we just skipped qualifying and both started at the back, so we
could start closer together.

One note, not the same cost, since only one of you dials.  If you take
turns, it should cost roughly half the cost of Hawaii.  But then again,
in my league I've had some great races with 8, 10, or more good racers.

My bud and I are having a similar problem, except when we both start at the
back of the field w/o qualifying, it posts him a lap up on the field.  He
don't mind so much, but I think it sucks!

This is a known bug. Usually, the program will allow the dial-in car to
move up to the correct spot, assuming there's time to get there before the
green flag falls.
