        Can anyone tell me where i can get the patch to run the
nascar2 without the cd in... Thanks alot ...

  Huh????  It's called "full install."  You get an error when it tries
to run the intro, but just hit i (ignore) and the game will proceed just
fine.  The full install option requires about 98 megs of hard drive
space as opposed to the 22 or so with the minimum (cd) install.  What on
earth would you need a patch for ?

Actually, it is more of a crack than a patch.  I have a friend who needs
this crack even though he did purchase N2 just like I did.  Neither one
of us can get our CDROM to work in a dos session and his system has the
now famous N2+win95+T2 problem.  I can be the answering system since my
wheel works fine from 95 but then we get a connection failure.  Only way
around it is to have him run the CD crack and start the game from DOS
then I can call him every time.  Too bad it is long distance! :(
