        Having trouble with modem multiplayer mode.  Using Cardinal
MVP288XF external modem with the following init string:

        AT&F&C1&D2^M

Modem connection failure about half-way through hand shaking.
Anyone have a working init string for this modem in N2 and what Baud
rate do you use?

Try just ATZ for the string and the baud at 9600, that works for most
modems, hope that helps.
