Does anyone here recommend the Stealth 220 video card with the rendition
verite 2100 chipset?

The only other video card i have found with a rendition chipset, is the
Hercules Thriller with the rendition verite 2200 chipset or something like
that.

I haven't found any with the v1000 chipset.

thanks in advance for any info and your opinions.

Not a bad card for the price.

Very nice card...Perhaps the best of the Rendition-based cards.

Sierra Screamin' 3D, Canopus Total 3D, Intergraph Intense 3D should
still be floating around...These were the ones that came bundled with
ICR2-3D.  Get the Herc card you found though.

Cheers!

Marc

Yes.
I've been using one for 3 months and it is excellent.

Me too! I have overclocked it heavily (from 40 Mhz to 59Mhz, no problem!), and
this makes it quite fast (faster than the Thriller without overclocking). Very
nice D3D, OpenGL, but the nicest and fastest is the RRedline! (GPL!) This card
has received a lot of prizes for best buy, best bang for the buck etc!!! The
Thriller is the most advanced, but if you don't need the features (TV in/out
etc), go for the Stealth!
