Another Question About SCGT.........

by FC » Wed, 19 Jun 2002 13:58:47

Ok....
I installed SCGT on full
I patched it
I added the 24 car patch
applied Banscene.mas
Used SRS's spcar.exe to apply a No-CD
But every car I install crashes the game! I get "Error: Cant load x.mas (x
being the name of the car.)
WHY?????
I tried like, 20 cars, and most tracks I try work fine!

Any help would be very welcome!!!

Another Question About SCGT.........

Just a few rambling  thoughts...not sure exactly where your problem is
occurring from your post...and I am NOT an expert at editintg....

Banscene incorporates a NOCD (I think..)..so you may not need the SRS NOCD...

A lot of the "new and add-on" tracks have car limits below the 24 depending on
your detail levels-check the track list at Speedsims-I think it has a listing
of the limits (LeMans will only let me do 8 cars at high detail..)..your system
may be limiting the number of cars...I usually run about 12-15 cars at the
most--your detail levels will effect the number of cars that you can run...

Lastly...and the most simple...are you sure the cars are installed correctly?
All the files go into the "Patch" directory...(not split to DAT and MAS like
the tracks..)..also from my experiance if you don't edit the ani.ani file for
some cars you can race against them but not IN them...

Hope this helps....
