I am going to re install GPL, and it's been quite a while since the
original installation.  Other than the patch, isn't their a no-CD file I
need to install so that I don't have to put in the CD every time? Does
it matter which on I intall first, the no-CD file or the patch?

1.2 patch first, then no-cd patch from www.gamecopyworld.com

even easier than that,update to 1.2 patch then install the d3d patch if
needed then finally add the pentium 1.7 fix and that beta fix removes cd
protection :o)

Hmmm, I've never needed a nocd patch for mine, ver 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2
Always worked without the cd from a fresh install :)

Different versions I guess, the UK version for instance, does need the cd,
both before and after the 1.2 patch.
