Hy,

just bought the german Version of GPL (Grand Prix Legends)
I cannot run this fine program because it will hang (crash)
during the calibration of the Wheel. Anybody with a hint
to fix this?

BTW using W98

Sorry, not much help to you, but I am running the UK version with the
MS-FF wheel and Win98 with no problems.

me too - I use the sidewinder profiles to set up a profile with the brake
and accel pedal on separate axis - and use "direct input" in the game -
seems to work fine....

My GPL will hang too if I try to calibrate with "Direct Input" joystick
driver. Only "Generic" works for me for some reason.

The Problem is fixed>

Solution:

Deinstalling reference driver (DX6 RC) from 3dfx and going back to the
latest creative driver has fixed the problem.

Hi
I have a MS FF Wheel & Win98 and works fine.
Try installing DirectX that came with the wheel or download directx6.
