YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!

But please - get rid-off the "checkered-flag" roof - it should be all [off-]
white.

Also.. another point worth making... sponsorship was not that big back then

In 1967 ??   --    Nope!
:-)

Guess it depends upon the period they want to "re-create".
Unless I'm mistaken - "bigtime" sponsorship didnt surface until the early
70's in rally...

The era in Rally Trophy is more among the lines of "those golden days" than
"between 1969 May 15th evening and August 2nd mid-afternoon", so we can get
a nifty variety of cars. We have concentrated our nitpicking on the car
physics. :-)

Sounds good :-)

While you're here, can I be rude and ask a couple of questions? I'm
going to anyway...

1) Will there be any sort of track editor?

2) How much scope is there for third-party addons, and how hard would
it be to produce them?

These are issues we haven't decided fully yet, but it _seems_ at the moment
that we'll be releasing tools to import user-made addons into the game. No
track editor as such, as new tracks would be imported as well, AFAIK. Again,
this is how it's scetched at the moment and it could still change. We'll let
you know when we know for sure, don't worry. :-)

This sound like good music to me! :-) Being able to import cars, paintjobs
and stages would be a huge pluss to this title!

Please let me reserve "33 EJB"  at once :-)

I'm allready looking forward to it as a little kid!

Screw the physics Ilari -- give us eye candy!!  Haven't you guys
learned anything from the lesson Ubisoft taught us with F1RC?

<SNIP>

ARE YOU INSANE?!  Everybody knows the best rallying occurred between
the morning of February 2nd 1968 and July 17th around midnight!!!

This title is really going to suck, I fear, because you guys obviously
just don't know what you're doing.

OK, let me as a potential buyer decide it for you  : you *have* to do
those tools. Look at GPL - an userbase that's actively involved with a
game helps that game live for a lot longer than it would if it were a
"closed system".

To hell with WSC, *this* is the game at the top of my "most wanted"
list right now... if this game is anywhere near as good as it looks so
far, I'll be into EB the second it's out - dubious Monte exclusions
ahoy!

Message delivered to appropriate parties. :-)
We know the importance of player communities adding to the game's lifespan
with modifications and such, it's just a matter of how it'll be done.

About the visuals.. There's a surprising amount of people claiming the
screenshots are pre-rendered and fake. And they haven't even seen the best
shots yet!

tail-lights and Mk 4 badging!  :-)
