: Hey everyone,
: I just got a T2 from some complete fool who didn't like it in exchange for
: a 14.4 modem. Heh. The wheel has only been used three times, and is in
: fantastic shape -- except that it didn't come with a "converter" that's
: supposed to go between the pedal connector and the PC. What is it, and do
: I need it for N2/ICR2?
: Even if I do, it was a good trade for a used 14.4.
: Please email me with your response as I don't get to check newsgroups much.

The adaptor is needed on T2's manufactured before November 18, 1996.
The adaptor is only used for Windows95 games which require the wheel and
pedals to be on the same joystick port. Look on the bottom of your
steering console for the date code (yymmdd -- 961118 is 11/18/96). If
it is manufactured before this date, you will need the adaptor for
Win95 games/sims. You should be able to use either with N2/ICR2. If
the pedals to react to the calibration, try setting them to the other
joystick in the setup menu.
If you need an adaptor, contact Thrustmaster and they will send you one.
