OK here are some results, check them out against your own to see how
good/bad you think the K6 is for GP2.

This is how i have it set up on my pc.

Graphics-
all trackside objects on.
all detail on except sky and smoke.
no mirror texture.
estimate=>25.6fps
use=19.6fps

Quick race at SPA

Grid poss 13th semi-pro

Before the race gets under way test for occupancy at the following.

Incar (right arrow)
tv cam (left arrow btn)
in front (delete btn)
at rear (page down btn)

With my K6 233 o/c to 262.5 (3.5x75) Et6000 video runing at bus/2 ,
32meg 10ns sdram, M-tech 534 F1 mobo.
Thrustmaster game card and GP1 wheel.

incar     tv    front    rear
100%      146%  115%     107%

With this setup my race occ blips above 100% twice in the race as i pass
the stands but runs at 85-90% the rest of the time.

I have run this cpu at 250 (3x83) but i have to set the pci bus at 33mhz
to boot it and the frame rate test gives exactly the same result.

I have an Evesham Vale Platinum K6 200 (clocked to 225), with 32Mb SDram,
on a Supermicro P5MMA ATX m/b, and a Quantum Fireball 3.2 ultra DMA h/d.

My results for the exact same set-up that you used are as follows.....

Track = Spa
Quick Race = Semi Pro
Graphics = everything on except sky and smoke.
Estimated fps = >25
Used fps = 19.6
Grid position = 13

On the grid at the start of the race....

cpu occupancy   = incar = 100 - 105
                = Tv    = 140 - 150
                = Front = 115
                = Rear  = 107 - 110

During the race the fps stayed around the 80 - 100 mark, going over 100
for split seconds only a few times.

Don't you just love these K6's? I do....
