   Is there a place to download the GTR 2002 mod?  

   I tried to get it last night, and registered with
gamespy.  I hate doing that.  My mailbox is already
packed with crap.  

   So I go to their site, grab the base and extended
F1 carsets, then try to D/L the GTR 2002 mood.  I'm
told I need to log in!  

   So I try again.  Log in with my Gamespy e-mail and
password, I had them send it to me again to make sure
we were on the same page,

Me:"Sports-Racing-F1 Series-GT Racing 2002 Mod-Download"

   "You'll need to log into FilePlanet before
downloading this file."  

   "Click here to log in using GameSpyID", which starts
another lap of frustration.  

   So, is there a site where I can click "Downloads",
find the GTR 2002 link, click that, get asked where I
want to put the file?  No registering, no BS?  

   Oh, and it would also be cool if the link wasn't
broken, which many seem to be.

   I'm at 48% on the download, so I think I'll just
wait it out for now.  The Blackhole server isn't
exactly melting my cable modem with it's bandwidth.  
Only 2 hours and 54 minutes to go.   I'm leaving to
watch the Trailblazers play the Timber wolves tonight.  
If the download fails, I'll get back to you.  I don't
mean to *** about Blackhole Motorsports.  I know I
can't afford a T3 line to my PC.  

   Is there a site with better simple, no
registration, access and a higher bandwidth?  

   I've never used a binary newsgroup, but Comcast's
news server seems to have the binary you named.  Can
you plop a quarter gig on those binary groups?  

   What's the status of Nurbergring?  I've seen the
screenshots.  I fell in love with that track on GPL.  
I've never become as fond of GPL.
