Steering wheel : recommendation please

Gents,

I'm looking for a setup that I can use with my NFS3 and GPL just bought.
With the slew of Thrustmaster wheels that are out there I'm overwhelmed.
Are there any available from Saitek ? I have a HOTAS setup from Saitek and
like the feel of it. Wonder how their wheel would feel.

I'm new to the racing sims and want to accelerate thru this hardware
acquiring and setup
phase quick to get started with my 2 new games. All info are appreciated. I
need your
informed opinions asap, can't wait to get going. :)

Thanks,
FLight

Personally, I just went and got myself a TM Grand Prix 1 and love it.  I
have a T2 as well and like it, but I was spending more time trying to get
the pedals back under my feet than I was driving.  It was 29.95 at
Electronics Boutique, which is a killer deal on a wheel if you ask me.
I've also used the NASCAR Pro, but don't really like the feel of the wheel
itself.

Just my 2 cents

While I haven't yet seen one for real, the RS from www.actlab.com/
looks real nice. And at $69 US the price is great. There's even a
force feedback version. Having tried CH's Force FX(?) stick though, I
think it'll be a while till ff really delivers the truly real feel of
flying/racing we'd all like. Then there's the feeling in your ***and
feet to consider.
