Steering Wheel Recommendation

by Jeffrey K. Sti » Mon, 13 Feb 1995 14:43:04

Hi all.

As you know, I am the proud owner of Papyrus IndyCar and NASCAR Racing.
I am thinking of purchasing a wheel for driving.  Does anyone have
a good recommendation?  I currently use a joystick for a throttle so
I will have analog over the Accelerator and Brakes.  I use another
joystick for steering and use the firing buttons on the top as the
gear shifters.  My space and funds are limited.  Any recommendation
would be appreciated, especially if I can keep analog control over
the accelerator and brakes.

Thanks!

Jeffery, there is ONLY one real choice, the THRUSTMASTER
T1 Driving system. It has a Steering Wheel, Gear shifter, and
Gas and Brake pedals. It is very rugged in construction, the
pedals have a great 'snap back' feel to them and the steering
wheel has 'feedback' pressure that makes steering in NASCAR,
INDYCAR, and WORLD CIRCUIT a dream come true.
I can, since getting my TM T1 controller, really hold a line
well in NASCAR, and in addition I can charge corners and
blast through on the road courses in INDYCAR, which was a
struggle to do with the CH Virtual Pilot Yoke that I was using
before.

I highly recommend the THRUSTMASTER T1 Driving Controller.
There is nothing like it out on the market at this time.
