NR 2003 converter, Nurburgring problems

by Juerg » Sun, 01 Jun 2003 02:39:51

Hi all,

I bought the converter from Dave Noonan, mainly because of Spa and
Nurburgring.
Spa is running ok, even with a full field of cars. With Nurburgring
everything is ok as long as I am alone on the track.  As soon as some
AI are selected, they are all popping out of the sky and falling down
on the track. This goes on and on.
I really would like to race the AI on the Ring. Is there a solution
for that problem ?

Thanks in advance!

race :)))

There are definitely some graphical issues with the Ring.  The worst one
I've seen is just before you get to that left-hander that has the weird
concrete embedded in it.  You can see a big chunk of land floating up in
space like it's an island or something :)

Have fun, and when you get back, set the AI strength to 90% or more,
that usually fixes it

Jeez!
That means that I'll NEVER win a race! :)

(Remember the "sky-rocketing" cars when the beta of GPL became publicly
available?! LOL! :) )

Bruce.

Yup....and don't sell yourself short in the speed department Bruce, if
memory serves me right you have a nice (virtual) trophy on your shelf
from a BR1000 event :-)

Hi Goy,

thanks a lot! Things are running fine now, despite the fact that the
AI are disappearing in front if me now :))
