It's 1115 in the evening.  Just tried to run some N4 races.

No way...

Latencies are running anywhere from 350ms to 1.5 seconds.

This is no way to run a railroad.

Crap.  Wrong newsgroup.

This was supposed to go to the comments section on our cox RoadRunner
newsgroup, where a many-months long discussion of the networks horrible
performance has been going on.

Sorry :)

Sounds like you need a better connection then.  I don't get those
latencies..

It's not the connection.  It's the network.  It's a known issue, and
promises of a fix have come and gone a few times.

No shit :)  That's what we have been telling the Cable Company for 6 months
:)

Actually, it's not the connection.  It's their server configuration and
router problems.

Believe it or not, sometimes it's in excess of 15 hops BEFORE our data ever
see's the net!

Maybe you should take a lesson from this woman:
http://www.nationalpost.com/scripts/printer/printer.asp?f=/stories/20...

She had all sorts of problems with her cable internet & inept tech
support meant she was down most of the time.  So she has now sued: $500
for breach of contract, $300 for her inconvenience, & $5,000 punitive
damages.  Good for her!

Did I mention she's also a judge?  :-))
