Nascar Racing- Paintkit question

by Gordon Vost » Fri, 12 Jul 1996 04:00:00

I have a question for the nascar paintkit in nascar racing. Can I take an
pcx/gif/jpg file an add it to the decals already there? If, How? Or could
I take a pcx/gif/jpg file an shrink it to the size to where using Paint
Shop Pro shareware version I can put it on the hood/sides of the car?
Thanks, And please e-mail me your reply. B.J.

pkassist.zip which has the nascar color palettes.  The picture you put on
the hood has to have the same colors as the rest of the game.  I haven't
got this file up on my webpage yet, but I can send it to you or I think
Racing Headquarters still has it up.

As for importing decals, you'd have to edit the scicon and sciconb.pcx
files with psp, but you still need pkassist.zip to do that.
