? NASCAR paintkit Questions

A friend of mine gave me his car file for the 1995 Winston Cup
cars.  My question is how do I copy one of my cars in my existing
car file to his new car file he gave to me.  I'm refering to the paintkit
information.  Thanks for any help.

What you have to do is go into the paintkit for your cars and
export them individually.  Then you need to import the
individual pcx files into the paintkit for his carset.  You may
need to rename the exported pcx files if you are not replacing
them in the same position in the other carset.  Its easiest to
do them one at a time.

1. Export the car from his set you want replaced and check the
file name (you can delethe this file once you see the name).
2. Go into your carset'sd paintkit can export the car you want
to transfer.
3. Check the file name of the pcx you just exported and change
it to the file name you got in setp #1.
4. Go back into the paintkit for his carset and import this
renamed pcx file to replace the current one.

I believe you export your car from your 94 paintkit...it saves it as a .pcx file in the nascar dir, name it
something you'll remember...then take the your paintkit for the 95 car set (which you have to make your self
by editing the paintkit to look in the cars95 dir instead of cars94...) select the car you want to replace and
export it as well...exit back to dos...rename your car's .pcx file so it has the same name as the one you just
exported...reenter paintkit for 95 and select the same car and select import...and there is your new scheme.
