I'm having problems getting this working..
I've installed 1.5a patch for Nascar Heat and when I try to run the mod, I
just get the normal game.
I unzipped the files so that they are installed like so - C:\Nascar
Heat\V8\*.*
When I run the bat file in the V8 directory, I just get the normal game - no
mod.
I've also tried running "Nascar Heat.exe" -mod:V8 and still the same
result - am I missing something?

look at your folder structure. You should have all your V8 folders nested
inside the main heat folder.
so Heat\V8\ghost
\paint
\record
\replay
\setups\each track...
lemme know how your folders look..

Nope - only a setups folder with folders for each track inside - no
paint,record or replay folders.

Also, I think that there's 2 V8 mods for NH - I'm using the 45MB one...

I just double checked the installation instructions. It looks like if you
point the extraction to the main heat folder AND YOU HAVE CHECKED THE 'USE
FOLDER NAMES' option in winzip, it 'should' place all the files in their
proper folders.

All the folders have been extracte as they appear in the zip file....thanks
anyway...will keep trying
