Hey, I really dig this idea. We must get Kaemmer & co to create the game,
because we all know an inferior crew would just soil the project. With
an accurate physical model, a rock-solid support for multiplayer
excavations, extensive setup options, pit strategies and all, it'll be
a certain hit.

I think Hasbro came out with the "Barbie Backhoe Contruction" game where you
could choose the color of the backhoe, the style of Barbie's hair, and the
matching clothes she would wear as she would do things such as dig a hole
for her backyard swimming pool with Ken.  Make sure you install the 2.2.1
patch available on Hasbro's website to fix CTD when you tried to runover
Ken.  Also, if you're a Geforce user, you must install detonator driver 8.0
or higher to get the program to work.  It is also on Nvidia's  T&L enabled
games list.  (I get 42 fps in digdemo1.dm2) on my V5 with 4XFSAA.

It's too difficult to operate with just a mouse so I recommend the HOPAL
(Hands On Pedals And Levers) control device made by Saitek.

Tim,

Will my CH pedals work with the Saitek HOPAL system?

Also, does Hasbro's BBC support split axis?  If not, then I would
challenge their claim that it's a "sim."

Rumor has it that BHL has a the best digging physics engine. But I'm sure some (
like one whose initials are David Fisher ) will find it too challenging and
criticize all who praise it.

Nah GPL is a very effective Backhoe Similator. If you do not believe me I
will send you a replay of a silverstone race I ran. I was constantly
digging myself into a deeper and deeper hole as the laps went on.  Infact
if it was real life I would have dug a shallow grave twice in turn one, and
a in turn 4 there.
